Our First Day

Hello All,
Unfortunately I forgot to take the camera today. Boy was today exciting. We are so proud of ourselves. W,e found our way to the clinic and home without believe it or not to much trouble! Alex was great. We did not do to much today but had play picinic. She was so funny and really made a great mess which is exactly the point. She was in to absolutely everything. She ha not had a tube feeding yet today. The director of the program said that Alex did SUPERB. She said that they ususally don't expect to see that kind of behavior from kids until they have been here at least a week. We expect the tube to come out at the beginning of next week if all goes well. The apartment is very nice and very clean. Most of the older people do not speak English just German so communicating is a little bit of a problem but we are managing. We do have TV here and it is so funny to see our shows in German. We have been watching CNN Europe and getting quite the education about how we are viewed abroad. People seem to be very polite and funny hear. The architecture is beautiful we are going on an excursion this weekend. Alex has been quite the little explorer and easy to take around.
